DescriptionThe Foundation focuses its grantmaking on the following areas: Education, (K-12, higher education, and health science centers and medical research); Arts and Culture (organizations in the visual arts and performing arts areas, museums, and libraries); Health, (institutions providing health care, doing medical research, or outreach organizations employing primarily professionals from the allied health areas) and Human Services (organizations providing services in diverse areas to the public, and specifically to the disadvantaged, people with special needs, and the elderly). Grants are awarded for capital, program, and operating expenses. The Foundation primarily provides support to nonprofits in Oklahoma; however, the Foundation also considers requests from organizations in the surrounding states of Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, New Mexico, and Texas as well as organizations located in Washington, D.C. The deadline is for the letter of inquiry; additional information can be found on the Web site.
