The Foundation is dedicated to the advancement of the chemical sciences. The Henry Dreyfus Teacher-Scholar Awards Program awards grants in support of the research and teaching career of talented young faculty members in the chemical science fields at an undergraduate institution. Priority is given to applicants, who according to independent faculty members, have demonstrated leadership in original scholarly research of outstanding quality and substantially with undergraduates and excellence and dedication in undergraduate education. Eligible nominees include academic institutions in the United States, its districts, and territories that grant a bachelor's or master's degree in the chemical sciences. The Foundation defines chemical sciences as biochemistry, materials chemistry, and chemical engineering. Application and other information can be found on the Web site.
