Fields Pond Foundation
DescriptionThe Foundation?s primary mission is to provide financial assistance to nature and land conservation organizations that are community-based and that serve to increase environmental awareness by involving local residents in conservation issues. The Foundation?s grantmaking is focused on the following areas: project grants for trailmaking and other enhancement of public access to conservation lands, rivers, coastlines, and other natural resources; land acquisitions for conservation; assistance in establishing endowments as a means of funding stewardship of conservation areas; and support for the related education programs and publications as components of a land protection project. Nonprofit organizations in the six New England states and upper New York State are eligible to apply. Visit the Web site for application guidelines and additional information.
