Description

The Foundation works to advance human welfare in the greater Cleveland, Ohio community. Grants are awarded in the following areas: Climate and Environmental Justice, Creative Culture and Arts, Public Education, Thriving Families and Social Justice, and Vibrant Neighborhoods and Inclusive Economy. Climate grants are awarded to organizations in Northeast Ohio that develop and advocate for public policy on climate change and/or are working to mitigate climate change by promoting sustainable land use, creation of accessible green spaces in the region, or environmental justice. Creative Culture grants are awarded in support of local projects that enhance learning, strengthen pride of place, create an emotional connection to the environment and deepen the impact of opportunities for those who might otherwise be denied them. Public Education grants are awarded in support of efforts to ensure that every child in Cleveland attends a high-quality school and every neighborhood has a multitude of great schools from which families can choose. Thriving Families grants invests in growth and development opportunities for historically marginalized people at critical life junctures. Vibrant Neighborhoods grants support efforts to achieve inclusive growth and opportunity for all of the city?s neighborhoods and residents. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
