Description

The Foundation was named for George Mergens, a mechanic engineer, inventor, and business entrepreneur who made significant contributions to the field of olor film analysis and processing during his career. The Foundation supports nonprofits that serve the youth of Vermont. The Foundation seeks to foster a sense of well-being, curiosity, and empowerment in the lives of youth so that they are best equipped to meet the challenges of the future. Grants are awarded in the following areas: education and training, enrichment activities, recreation, and health and wellness.
