American Mathematical Society

: Education

The Society works to advance research and connect the diverse mathematical community through publications, meetings, and conferences, MathSciNet, professional services, advocacy, and awareness programs. The Society's Epsilon Fund Grants for Young Scholars Program awards grants of up to $15,000 in support of existing summer programs for mathematically talented high school students. Programs may focus on problem solving or mathematical research in any area of mathematics. It is expected that half of the award will be used for student scholarships and half for program expenses. Eligible programs must have been in existence for at least a year and preferably longer. Visit the Web site for more information and application instructions.
