DescriptionThe Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the insurance Company. It seeks to improve the quality of life in communities in which a large number of Company members, associates, partners, and their families live and work. Grants are awarded for the following priorities: emergency and basic needs, crisis stabilization, and personal and family empowerment. The Foundation also awards grants for community enrichment by invitation only. The Foundation awards grants for general operating support and project and/or program support from organizations serving the following communities: Brea/Orange County and Sacramento, Calif.; Columbus (metro), Ohio; Denver, Colo.; Des Moines, Iowa; Gainesville, Fla.; Harleysville and Harrisburg, Penn.; Raleigh (metro), N.C.; San Antonio, Texas; Scottsdale/Phoenix (metro), Ariz.; and Wausau, Wis.
