DescriptionThe Foundation?s mission is to make a positive difference in the lives of the lesbian/gay/bisexual/transgendered community, particularly in rural and other under-served populations of the United States. Grants are awarded for HIV/AIDS services, community services, or research and public education. Grants for HIV/AIDS services seek to benefit individuals, caregivers, and families directly impacted by HIV/AIDS. It also includes HIV prevention and education programs. Community services grants are awarded to services and programs that support subgroups of AIDS individuals such as youth, seniors, victims of domestic abuse, etc. Research and public education grants support programs and services helping to make the world a more hospitable place for people regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity.
