Elephant's Trust

Category

: International

Description

The Trust was created in 1975 by Roland Penrose and Lee Miller to develop and improve the knowledge, understanding, and appreciation of the fine arts in the United Kingdom. The Trust was set up to make it possible for artists and those presenting their work to undertake and complete projects that otherwise would go uncompleted due to lack of funds. The Trust is committed to helping artists and art institutions and galleries that depart from the routine and signal new, distinct, and imaginative sets of possibilities. The Trust does not support arts festivals, group exhibitions, charities organizing community projects, educational or other studies, residencies or research, students, symposia or conferences, theaters, catalogs, or projects taking place outside of the United Kingdom. Visit the Web site for additional information.
