Edna Mcconnell Clark Foundation

Description

The Foundation focuses its grantmaking on high-performing nonprofits around the country, helping them increase their capacity to serve more young people from low-income backgrounds, ages 9 to 24, with quality programs during out-of-school time. To find potential grantees, a special Foundation department conducts ongoing “reconnaissance” seeking names of promising youth-serving organizations that show success in programming. Youth organizations are invited to share information about themselves and their programs by completing the Youth Organization Survey form found on the Web site.
