The Leche Trust

Category

: International

Description

The Trust supports projects from United Kingdom registered charities, public authorities, or public institutions. The Trust awards grants in two areas: performing arts and conservation. Under the performing arts category, the Trust supports music, theater, and dance who demonstrate excellence in professional performance; produce and perform new work; and develop young, professional artists age 18 or over. The Trust aims to achieve a broad balance between music, theater, and dance projects and take into account the number and location of audiences and/or individuals likely to benefit. The Trust will also fund conservation projects that seek to conserve historic objects, collections, and feathers of buildings as well as designed landscapes, which are pre-Victorian to date. In the case of churches, the Trust will consider supporting the conservation of items such as monuments, wall paintings, stained glass, and historic furniture and fittings. The Trust does not have an application form, but each application should be accompanied by a single page cover sheet which is found on the Web site.
