Description

The Utility's grant Program seeks to give back to the communities that it serves. Strong preference is given to Georgia-based organizations and programs that seek to improve the quality of life for the state's residents. Plant leadership teams evaluate grant proposals within their local areas. The Utility does not provide grants to individuals, private elementary or secondary schools or religious organizations; nor do they fund political campaigns or causes. Requests up to and including $25,000 are evaluated on a rolling basis. Requests larger than $25,000 must be reviewed and approved by the Foundation board which meets in May, August, and December. Some additional information can be found on the Web site.
