Chicago Foundation For Women

Description

The Foundation has issued a request for proposals for its Response, Recovery, and Resilience Fund. Grants awarded through this Fund are intended to provide support to community-based organizations in Chicago serving communities disproportionately impacted by the coronavirus pandemic. The Foundation believes these organizations, because of their deep relationships, are best positioned to create impact in their communities. The Foundation will award grants in support of Black, Latinx, and communities of color in the Chicagoland area that have been disproportionately impacted by COVID-19. Awards will fall into two categories: relief/services to address immediate or ongoing needs, or short-term emergency advocacy activities due to the pandemic and capacity-building support to stabilize organizations that directly serve communities. Priority will be given to frontline grassroots and women of color-led organizations with budgets under $4 million serving women, girls, transgender individuals, and gender non-binary people of color. Visit the Web site for additional information and application instructions.
