J. Jill Compassion Fund

DescriptionThe Fund is a donor-advised fund of the Boston Foundation for the clothing retailer. The Foundation establishes long-term partnerships with organizations whose missions are to aid needy women and children. Of particular interest are organizations that serve homeless or at-risk women and children by providing job training, transitional and/or affordable housing, education, emergency shelter, or other types of aid. Grants are considered for existing programs only. All grants are made on a one-time only basis. Guidelines are available online. For 2007, organizations in Michigan, Oregon, Washington, Maryland, Pennsylvania, or Wisconsin are eligible to apply.
