DescriptionThe Foundation, formerly known as the Bill Healy Foundation, named after the individual who helped develop a ski resort on Mt. Bachelor) is dedicated to building community and support the environment and youth in the states of Hawaii and Oregon. The Foundation focuses its grantmaking in the following areas: youth education (youth is defined as up to age 25); youth advocacy, reduction of childhood poverty, climate change mitigation, and protection of ecosystems. The Foundation makes unrestricted grants quarterly. The maximum unrestricted grant is $50,000. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
