DescriptionThe Foundation's mission is to serve and strengthen the global community through building strong partnerships and helping to improve the quality of life for all. It focuses its grantmaking on the following areas: education, especially initiatives focused on science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM); environment, especially environmental awareness, environmental stewardship, and energy conservation; empowerment, especially building an engaging and dynamic work environment with a mindset of equality and inclusion; and economic development, especially infrastructure efforts. During the pandemic, the Foundation has earmarked a $1 million commitment in support of COVID-19 response efforts, focusing on nonprofits providing food, shelter, and personal protective equipment for frontline workers.
