Description

The Foundation is the charitable arm of the pharmaceutical manufacturing company. Its main interest is on funding healthcare projects that improve access, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Of particular interest are projects that improve access to care for children, the uninsured, and the elderly; those that help prevent child abuse and neglect; ones that promote health education; and those that expand education opportunities for healthcare providers. The Foundation earmarks its funds for organizations in areas where employees live in work in Arkansas, California, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Mississippi, New Jersey, North Carolina, and Puerto Rico. The Foundation also supports organizations in Ontario and Quebec, Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Malta, Poland, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Australia, China, India, Japan, New Zealand, Philippines, and Singapore.
