Description

The Foundation strives to make a difference in the lives of youth in the communities where company employees and customers live and work. Grants support youth development and active lifestyle programs. Grants are awarded to nonprofits that provide opportunities for youth participation in the following areas: 1) youth athletic programs with an emphasis on community-based programs addressing active lifestyles and team building skills and 2) established camps that focus on sports and active lifestyles, with an emphasis on programs serving disadvantaged and special needs kids. Priority will be given to organizations providing opportunities for participation for children and young adults age 18 and under as well as organizations whose activities provide direct services to individuals and produce tangible results, rather than those that are policy oriented. Additional information including details on two large grant programs – the Founder’s Grant Program and the Legacy Grant Program can be found on the Web site.
