DescriptionThe Organization, a woman-only giving circle is committed to making a lasting impact on the lives of women, children, and families in need in the Washington, DC region, including Washington, DC; Northern Virginia; and Montgomery and Prince George’s counties, MD. Grants will be awarded in four areas: education, health, housing, and job readiness. Programs must serve primarily women, children, and/or families. Finalists for the grants are invited to make a presentation at the Organization’s annual meeting. Members will cast their ballots to award one $100,000 Impact Grant. Other finalists will be awarded a Partner grant, the value of which is determined by the total amount raised during the year. Applying organizations must have been in operation for at least five years and have a budget of at least $500,000. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
