The Turrell Fund

Description

The Fund’s mission is to support organizations that help youth with special emphasis on the needy youngster. Grants are awarded to organizations serving at-risk youth and their families in the state of Vermont as well as in Essex, Hudson, Passaic, and Union counties in New Jersey. The Fund’s focus and priority surrounding its grantmaking is targeted toward advocacy, policy, and services that support the youngest children, with emphasis on birth to five years of age. Special considering is given to organizations operating in one of the Fund’s service areas where the number and quality of educational and developmental alternatives are limited, and the relative concentration of at-risk children is high. The Fund requires all grant-seekers to submit their application online. Additional details can be found on the Web site.
