DescriptionThe Foundation, the charitable arm of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida, is addressing the issue of the uninsured with its current grantmaking schedule. The 2006 priority is to maximize the impact of community-based health clinics and outreach services. The objective is to address the challenges associated with providing access to and creating lasting outcomes connected with populations presently not receiving effective health-related prevention or treatment services. Eligible organizations must be located in Florida. The RFP and technical assistance information are available on the Web site.
