DescriptionThe railroad’s Community Investment Program supports nonprofits that serve the communities where the company is located, a 23-state network primarily in the Eastern, Southern, and Midwestern regions of the United States. The Organization has three separate grant programs: Pride in Service, Community Service, and In-Kind Donations. The Pride in Service grants program serves the heroes who serve the country (veterans and active duty military) and the community (first responders). Pride in Service grants connect the veterans, active duty military and first responders and their families with their neighbors, resources, support, and honor. Community Service grants are awarded to organizations making an impact on their greater communities. In-Kind donations include donations of transportation services, equipment, or materials.
