Description

The Foundation seeks to improve the quality of life for all citizens across the lifespan. The Foundation is accepting letters of inquiry from nonprofits for policy/advocacy projects in the areas of built environment, transportation, housing, social and civic participation and inclusion, employment, communication and information, and community support and health services. Community and civic engagement grants will support activities in which nonprofits work together to address or support a specific issue/action that strengthens an issue or leads to change(s) in the communities being served. Access to programs and services grants support activities that provide access to transportation and information about how older adults can improve their lives, health, and well-being. Projects should be collaborative and involve participants from all community arenas, with a focus on policy and advocacy activities that move communities toward age-friendly status. Organizations in the Plan’s service area of Massachusetts and Rhode Island are eligible to apply. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
