Isla Carroll Turner Friendship Trust

Description

The Trust supports nonprofits throughout the state of Texas that provide services to the elderly. Grants are awarded for health centers, recreation programs, retirement services, Alzheimer’s initiatives, meal delivery programs, nursing facilities, and others that support the elderly. The Trust also provides support for primary caregiving education programs focusing on the elderly as well as nursing scholarships for students specializing in gerontology. Grants must be used within the state of Texas for the benefit of those 60 years of age and above or those born with Down syndrome age 47 years and above.
