DescriptionThe Program seeks to improve the quality of life in communities where the real estate investment Companies operate and where the Companies’ employees reside, primarily in Hawaii. Grantmaking priorities are: the support of organizations and projects that address significant and/or high priority community needs; have a nexus to the Companies’ business activities or employees; and have the proven support of the community in which the organization serves. Grants are made, but not limited to, programs and projects in health and human services, education, community, culture and the arts, and environmental and land stewardship. The Companies will consider support for startup, general operating and special project needs as well as major and minor capital requests. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
