Rose Foundation For Communities And The Environment

DescriptionThe Foundation’s Northern California Environmental Grassroots Fund supports small grassroots groups in Northern California that are tackling tough environmental problems, including toxic pollution , urban sprawl, sustainable agriculture, climate change, environmental degradation of rivers and wild places, as well as of communities and health. Eligible projects must be implemented in Northern California, which includes the entire Sierra Nevada mountains, the Bay Area, the Central Valley, the Central Coast, and the North Coast. Applicants must have an annual budget of $100,000 or less. Faxed applications will not be accepted. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
