DescriptionImproving the quality of life in the companies’ operating areas is the Foundation’s goal. The Foundation’s grantmaking is focused on education, health and human services, arts and humanities, and civic and community. Under the education umbrella, the Foundation is interested in local and national educational institutions, libraries, and research projects. Health and humanities programs should contribute to the social, economic, and cultural well-being of the communities. National and local arts organizations, museums, cultural centers, public broadcasting, and other arts activities are of interest. Civic and community grants are awarded to national and local organizations that work to combat social problems, elevate the family, and break down barriers to economic and social growth. Organizations in Alabama, Louisiana, New Jersey, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, and Virginia are encouraged to apply.
