Description

The Academy’s Grants Program seeks to inspire imagination and connect the world through the medium of motion pictures. The Program directly supports the overall mission of the Academy and its commitment to diversity in the industry. The Academy currently provides funding in three areas: FilmWatch, which supports curated screening programs at North America-based film festivals; FilmCraft, which supports high-quality educational programs that identify and empower future filmmakers from nontraditional backgrounds; and Academy Film Scholars, which are awarded to previously published individuals who are pursuing significant new works of film scholarship. Additional details about each of the programs and information on how to apply can be found on the Web site. The deadline is for FilmCraft and FilmWatch grants.
