Sisters Health Foundation

Description

The Foundation is part of the health ministry of the Congregation of St. Joseph Catholic order of sisters. The Foundation supports efforts to promote oral health, healthy lifestyles, and health equity in the Mid-Ohio Valley. The Foundation’s Responsive Grants Program supports community health projects, capacity building initiatives, equipment or technology purchases, small capital projects, or general operations from nonprofits located in its service areas in West Virginia and Ohio. Funded projects must positively impact residents in one or more counties of the Foundation’s service areas in West Virginia (Calhoun, Jackson, Pleasants, Ritchie, Roane, Tyler, Wirt, and Wood counties) or Ohio (Athens, Meigs, and Washington counties). Program guidelines, and application instructions as well as other information can be found on the Web site.
