DescriptionThe Foundation is dedicated to improving the quality of life in the metropolitan area of Omaha, Neb. The Foundation’s mission is two-fold: breaking the cycle of poverty and invest in major capital projects that strengthen the community. The Foundation offers both program support grants and capital campaign grants. Program support grants are awarded in the three areas: basic needs, adult self-sufficiency, and at-risk youth. For program support grant requests, the Foundation gives greater priority to organizations that have outcome measures in place and that can adequately show the impact of their direct service program within the grant application. Capital Campaign Support grants are by invitation only. Priority is given to organizations with an existing funding relationship. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
