Description

The Foundation strives to build community and understanding by supporting local and national institutions. Financial support is directed to the arts through educational outreach. A strong commitment is placed on programs and organizations that benefit, encourage, and preserve the rights of individuals, promote equality for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer community and HIV/AIDS programs. Each applicant must include a statement specifically stating their commitment of equality for all Americans, including the gay and lesbian community in their application. Potential applicants must first inquire by phone or e-mail before submitting an application. The Foundation primarily awards grants in the Intermountain West of the United States including Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, and Montana. The Foundation also funds nationally in the U.S., specifically projects of national scope and/or impact. Some additional information can be found on the Web site.
