The Abell-hanger Foundation

DescriptionThe Foundation was founded from the estate of an oil and gas operator who worked in the rural areas of West Texas and his wife. The Foundation focuses its grantmaking on the following topics: education (limited to institutions of higher education including religious educational institutions), health, human services, public/society benefit, arts, culture, humanities, and religion. Currently, giving is confined to organizations located and serving the 57 counties of West Texas. Organizations outside of this area will be considered based on the services provided to this region.
