The Peter And Elizabeth C. Tower Foundation

Description

The Foundation supports community programming that results in children, adolescents, and young adults affected by substance-use disorders, learning disabilities, mental illness, and/or intellectual disabilities achieving their full potential. For each category, the Foundation has identified a set of grantmaking goals. Projects must focus on children, adolescents, or young adults (up to age 26) affected by intellectual disabilities, learning disabilities, mental illness and/or substance abuse disorders. Preference is given to projects that focus on screening and assessment, community-based education and supports, and transition/service navigation. Organizations located in and serving primarily residents of the following areas – Barnstable, Dukes, Essex, or Nantucket counties in Massachusetts or Erie or Niagara counties in New York – are eligible to apply.
