The Foundation was created to help enrich the lives of the people of Akron and Summit County, Ohio. Founded by Mary S. and David C. Corbin, who owned the one of the largest automobile dealerships in Ohio, the Foundation focuses its grantmaking on arts and culture, civic and community, education, environment, healthcare, housing, human and social services, medical research, and youth. Applications should be delivered via U.S. Mail or by hand. Submissions via e-mail or fax will not be accepted. Some additional information can be found on the Web site.
