Patrick P. Lee Foundation
Category: Health
DescriptionThe Foundation has identified two key priority areas for funding: Mental Health and Education. Education grants support scholarships for students pursuing an engineering degree; support individuals entering the mental health profession; provide professional development opportunities for those in the mental health field and training for those interacting with individuals with mental illness; and investing in workforce development programs that lead to job realization. Mental health grants help to raise community awareness of mental illness and serious mental illness (schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder); increase public and private funding for mental health services; and support mental health providers with a preference for early diagnosis, mental health screenings, and treatment programs. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
