Bascom Little Fund

Category

: Regional

Description

The Fund’s mission is to promote the work of musical composers from Northeast Ohio. The Fund supports performances and recordings of regional composers in order to promote their music. Grants will be awarded to support the new music through concerts, publications, recordings, and otherwise of serious and semi-popular music newly composed and performed in or near Cleveland. Individuals, student ensembles, festivals, and presenters without a core ensemble are not eligible to apply. Requests from dance companies are eligible but only for costs associated with live performances of music by contemporary Cleveland-area composers. Special consideration will be given to applicants with fiscal partners. The Fund does not fund the commission of new works. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
