DescriptionThe Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the cosmetics Company. The Foundation has two funding priorities: medical research and domestic violence. The Foundation’s domestic violence initiative supports women’s domestic violence shelters and community outreach programs. Applicants operating an emergency shelter (immediate overnight housing) for survivors of domestic violence are eligible to apply for a grant. Each year the Foundation awards at least one domestic violence shelter grant in every state that applies. Remaining funds are distributed based on state population. Grant applications are available on the Web site from Jan. 15 to April 30 each year. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
