Description

The Foundation is dedicated to the belief that research is necessary to improve education. The Foundation’s Small Research Grants fund research proposals for education research projects. Examples of proposals include an experimental study of how college students use visual representation in solving math problems and a study exploring the process of racial and rural identity formation among African-American high-school students who attend de factor segregated schools in the rural South. Researchers must be affiliated with a college, university, school district, nonprofit research facility, or nonprofit cultural institution. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
