Description

The Foundation is dedicated to perpetuating the vision of the founders, Cindy and Paul Skjodt. Named for the couple’s children, the Foundation’s grantmaking supports the arts, education, economic development, health, youth sports, community organizations that are meeting the needs of the underserved, and humanitarian projects. Grants are awarded for programs and projects that focus on disadvantaged youth, education, youth sports, poverty and hunger prevention, medical and health care programs, community development, the environment, building strong families, the advancement of human rights and social needs, and the arts. The Foundation seeks to promote tolerance and acceptance of all persons and encourages equality, full inclusion, and diversity policies. Grants are awarded primarily to organizations in Central Indiana, but have also been awarded internationally and to some projects outside of Indiana. Some additional information can be found on the Web site.
