DescriptionThe philanthropic vehicle of the railroad Company supports nonprofits that serve the communities where the company is located, primarily in the Eastern, Southern, and Upper Midwest United States. The Company awards grants in the following areas: safety, community, environment, and wellness. Safety grants focus on railway, public and personal safety. Community grants focus on community leadership and service. Environmental grants address land, water, and air preservation and restoration while Wellness grants focus on health lifestyles and wellness education.
