The Anne And Henry Zarrow Foundation

Category

: International

Description

The Foundation’s mission is to lift people out of poverty by supporting housing and shelter resources, social services, and basic human needs, mental health and indigent healthcare initiatives and programs that empower and inspire community members to improve their lives. The Foundation funds nonprofits working to improve the physical and intellectual lives of disadvantaged and vulnerable people primarily in the metropolitan area of Tulsa, Okla., and in special cases state wide in Oklahoma and in Israel. The Foundation also awards grants to Jewish communities, especially where projects can improve the lives of the disadvantaged. The Foundation’s strategy for Jewish giving centers largely on support for social services and vulnerable populations, primarily in Israel. Priority will be given to projects centered in the rural regions of Israel, such as Galilee and Negov. In addition, local and national grants will be considered along with other special projects internationally. Additional information including specific contact information for Israel grants can be found on the Web site.
