Association Of American Medical Colleges
The Associationís David E. Rogers Award honors the former president of the Association who was an exemplar of academic medicineís commitment to meeting the healthcare needs of the nation. The annual award recognizes a medical school faculty member who has made major contributions to improving the health and the health care of the American people. Nominees will be evaluated on demonstrated evidence that their contributions have improve the health of society, shaped public policy, and helped encourage the medical profession and/or academic medical centers to experiment with a variety of educational and delivery modes in the service of important societal objectives. Faculty or staff members of a medical school or teaching hospital or by any member of an academic society located in the United States or Canada are eligible to apply.
