Description

The Council’s Recordings at Risk Program supports the preservation of rare and unique audio and audiovisual content of high scholarly value through digital reformatting. Recordings nominated for reformatting through this program may be valuable for research or education in any field, not just fields normally considered as humanities disciplines. Applicants must be a U.S. nonprofit academic, research, or cultural heritage institution. Both the applicant institution and its collections must be located in the United States or the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico or American Samoa. Indian tribes, Alaska native villages, regional corporations, and village corporations are eligible to apply. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
