DescriptionThe Foundation’s mission is to inspire, invest in, and leverage great ideas and initiatives for outcomes that improve the quality of life in Pittsburgh and southwestern Pennsylvania. Grants are awarded in the following areas: food economy, leveraging technology and new business models, innovation ecosystem to innovate infrastructure through economic and workforce development, maintaining and renewing Pittsburgh’s neighborhoods, inclusive and participatory democracy, maternal and child health, cultural advancement and the arts, community/economic development, education, health/medicine, human/social services, and environment/conservation.
