DescriptionThe Foundation seeks to strengthen and support independent secondary schools and to challenge and inspi9re them to leverage their unique talents, expertise and resources to advance teaching and learning. In addition, the Foundation supports efforts to develop and implement models of sustainability, the dissemination of best practices, and collaboration with other institutions. The Foundation offers two types of grants, traditional and leadership. Traditional grants range from $25,000 to $100,000; Leadership grants range up to $250,000. All grants must be matched 1:1. Applicants must serve a 9-12th grade program, be a member of the National Association of Independent Schools, have a head of school who has served a full two years before a proposal is considered and remain for one year past the grant cycle process.
