Description

The Foundation’s mission is to provide for the intellectual, moral, and physical welfare of the people of this country. Its grantmaking focuses on support for libraries, educational institutions, and hospitals and clinics. Library grants will be considered generally for resource endowments as well as projects fostering broader public access to global information sources utilizing collaborative efforts, pioneering technologies, and equipment. Educational grants support universities, colleges, and secondary schools. Grants are considered for educational endowments, endowments for fellowships, and the erection and endowment of buildings, wings or additions. Grants for hospitals and clinics support a new health need, an improvement in the quality of care, or reduced health costs with better patient outcomes. Grants support nonprofits in the states of Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Tennessee.
