Description

The Trust was established to support and promote quality educational, human services, and health care programming for underserved populations. Educational grants fund programs for all ages, focusing on those that support academic access, enrichment, and remedial programs for children, youth, adults, and older adults. Health care grants support programs that improve access to primary care and health education initiatives for traditionally underserved individuals. Human services grants focus on a wide variety of programming. Special consideration is given to charitable organizations that serve the needs of elderly women. The Trust awards grants for general operating support or program support. Small, program related capital expenses may be included in general operating or program requests. The Trust is managed by the Massachusetts office of Bank of America and grants are awarded to Massachusetts-based nonprofits. Some additional information can be found on the Web site.
