Description

The Trust is a key leader in providing Floridians with disabilities opportunities for successful employment. The Trust awards grants for a wide range of projects including on-the-job coaching, supported employment, job skills training, job development, employer outreach, ADA facility compliance, skills evaluation, and programs leading to employment. The Trust offers three grant programs: Strategic Employment Placement Initiatives, Board Directed Initiative grants, and General Support for Employment Placement Programs. General Support grants seek programs or projects that result in employment placement for participating individuals with disabilities and could encompass equipment and/or staffing needs of an applicant organization to expand an existing program in a new way or create a new program. Strategic Employment grants seek proposals that address the employment placement of Floridians with disabilities. Board Directed grants address a specific issue. The deadline is for the General Support grants. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
