Farm Credit East

DescriptionThe Organization is part of the Farm Credit System, a nationwide agricultural network providing credit and affiliated services to those in agriculture and related industries across the nation. The Organization’s AgEnhancement grants are awarded to help organizations promote awareness of and strengthen agriculture, commercial fishing, and forest products in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, New York, New Jersey, and Vermont. Eligible projects include those that promote the development of young and beginning farmers; those that encourage leadership; those that help develop a greater understanding of agriculture, and those that recognize the accomplishment of ag leaders. In addition, the grants are also available for programs and projects that study the economic viability of agriculture; promote interest in the industry; and impact the Northeast.
