Description

The Organization is a national movement to make bike riding better for everyone. By collaborating with millions of individual riders, businesses, community leaders, and elected officials, the Organization is uniting people to create a powerful, united voice for cycling and its benefits. The grant Program supports bicycle infrastructure projects and targeted advocacy initiatives that make it easier and safer for people of all ages and abilities to ride. Bike infrastructure projects are defined as bike paths, lanes, trails, and bridges; mountain bike facilities; bike parks and pump tracks; BMX facilities; and end-of-trip facilities such as bike racks, bike parking, and bike storage. Eligible applicants must be a nonprofit organization with a focus on bicycling, active transportation, or community development; city or county agencies or departments; or state or federal agencies working locally.
